We had a lovely seder with Susan and her family, our friends John and Ruth and Letty. Alex was back east and got to see Ellie.

During the retelling of the Passover story, Susan and I were reminded of Shifra, one of the midwives who defied Pharaoh. Our cousin Mark is marrying a beautiful woman named Shifra and we send them both our love.
