Guess where we are?
Back in Packard Hospital. No big deal. Jacob got an infection around his hickman exit, and he's in for iv antibiotics.
The upside is, they are going to take that expletive-deleted hickman out. If nothing grows out on the cultures he'll either go home tomorrow, or if an OR frees up, maybe even get the thing out tomorrow.
Meanwhile, par for the course, he's had a bit of a reaction to the antibiotic, and we were waiting, a little anxiously, for the pharmacy to send up the reactions meds.
Oh well. They came, he's asleep, and tomorrow is another day.
