Lately
Nice times lately.
Ellie made a surprise visit during her spring break. Young told me we were going out to dinner in San Francisco, but had to stop by the airport to pick up his friend, Robert's, bags.
All the way to airport he spun this story about Robert's trip: how the airline had lost his bags; how he had to do a week of meetings in Barcelona with only one suit; how he'd set his coat down on a tealight and it caught on fire; how people rushed in and started beating on it to put it out. Imagine my surprise when Young emerged from baggage claim with Ellie instead.

The Nueva Trinadadian Krewe practiced for Carnival - they'll be marching in the San Francisco Carnival Parade Memorial day, with the whole steel drum band live on a flat bed. Jacob is Fire:
