Jacob had a very good check up with Paul Fisher, his neuro-oncologist, today. He said that Jacob is definitely better or the same on every measure - nothing got worse and many things including the facial nerves are better. We get to start tapering the decadron right away.

This is big news since we really didn't know if the meds would work at all.

Jacob seemed very sad - the changes were minimal, though in the right direction - he still can't use his left hand - but we went out for a nice dinner at Mezzaluna and he perked up.
