No news is good news(?)
There just hasn't been much to report on the home front. Jacob is getting better, but it is so slow! We've continued to taper the decadron to 2 mg a day. By next monday he'll be down to 1 mg after which he can go down to prednisone, and taper the rest of the way from there.
It will still take some weeks for the effects to wear off. He's going to school about one period a day. He can't see well enough to read because the drugs have distorted his corneas, though we hope that will be correctable with glasses, and eventually go away all together.
Alex and Jacob experimented with home-made "personal protection masks" `a al Stanley Bender, who was a denizen of Olympia Washington, rumored to have inspired the character "Bender" in Futurama, though that is a different story.

We had a beautitful dinner at Jennifer and Marks. Here Young and Addy watch Mark cook

Sparky got his cone off:

And we got to see Jessica and Alex before they jetted off for Matt and Holly's wedding.
