Alex's Birthday/Passover

Alex's girlfriend, Jessica, engineered a highly featured scavenger hunt for his birthday that led him all over the bay area before delivering him to her house for a surprise party.

We couldn't go to the party because we were going to a Passover Sedar (more about that later) so she arranged for us to show up at Vista Point accross the Golden Gate Bridge and deliver one of the clues. What a blast! We had a picnic.

Alex at Vista point with his clues (she made a special box they fitted into as he collected them):

And here's a video she shot of Alex figuring out the last clue:

Meanwhile we were having a wonderful sedar at David and Liz's house, with old and new friends. As usual for the last 30 years, David and my sister Susan were "Pa and Ma", leaders of the the Sedar.

Suzanne found the afikomen, and promptly shared it with all the kids.
