Recital Night
Last night Jacob's 8th grade class presented their recital projects: independent, creative projects they have each been working on with a mentor all year. They were fabulous, varying from an impassioned underwater video of great white sharks, to a traditional Thai dance, to a business case for a game store.
Jacob's project was a Tournament of games he invented, and for which he designed and built the equipment, including...Skateboard Jousting. I was so proud of him.

All the little kids seemed to swarm him, and this picture in particular reminded me of grown-up Jacob with himself as a little kid.
