The 2007 San Francisco Carnaval!
Yesterday, Nueva's amazing Carnaval Crew (Krew?) took the streets of the Mission. Jacob and his teammates, Kyle TL and Brad E, created an unbelievable five-person puppet of Mama D'Lo (I spelled it wrong before). At the last minute Tassa M and I were drafted as well.
They had a 45 foot flat bed with the steel drum band playing, and dancers and puppets and it was amazing.
I didn't get to see much of the rest of the parade, but Young was on the porch at Jessica and Alex's house - right on the parade route, and he got fabulous pictures.
