Maker Faire and a peek at Carnaval
We went to the Maker Faire today and it was fabulous, beside robot wars, and pedal powered amusement rides, we saw:
Jacob with a machine or is it a scupture? Anyway, it walks and shoots flames powered by compressed air.

And another one:
They had a giant puppet picking it's nose, driven by a person in a squirrel cage. Interestingly, there was a long line of people waiting their turn to be the squirrel:
Which reminds me of the puppets the Nueva students are making for Carnaval, though they are far lovelier. Here's a taste of what's to come next week:
